He chooses models that have the ability to be expressive and comfortable in front of the camera, those with open candid emotions that are ready to be photographed. He works within the digital photographic world, preferring the speed of being able to capture a plethora of images, all unique and exact in their own ways. This trend towards realism encompasses his work with a style that is “very refreshing, kind of edgy, modernistic, but a bit classical at the same time.” He believes the world is already too convoluted with extraneous meanings, and enjoys taking a straight forward approach to his work. He’d like the viewer to enjoy the beauty that is there, and not feel the need to concentrate on what is not.
